The UK Snooker Championship begins on 26 November, with Ronnie O’Sullivan looking for his eighth title – and third in a row – at the York Barbican.

O’Sullivan defeated Northern Ireland’s Mark Allen 10-6 in the 2018 final to defend his title and become only the third player to win the event in consecutive years after Steve Davis and Stephen Hendry.

The UK Championship is one of snooker’s Triple Crown events, and this year has more than £1,000,000 in prize money on the line for the first time – with the winner claiming £200,000.

BBC Sport has comprehensive live coverage on BBC TV, Red Button, Connected TV, online and the BBC Sport app from Saturday, 30 November.

There will also be match highlights available on the BBC Sport website for UK audiences.
