Udinese win 11-goal Coppa Italia thriller

Lopez is at his sixth Italian club, having played for Catania, AC Milan, Sampdoria, Chievo and Torino

Udinese hammered Serie B side Perugia to move into the Coppa Italia last 16.

Four goals from 33-year-old Argentine Maxi Lopez helped the Serie A club to a win that sets up a tie against Napoli.

Lopez, Danilo and Kevin Lasagna put Udinese 3-0 up before Alberto Cerri pulled one back just before half-time.

After Lopez added a fourth, Perugia pulled themselves back into contention by making it 4-3, but the home side scored four more goals for their first win under new coach Massimo Oddo.
