Carabao Cup: West Ham put five past Hull City to reach fourth round

Andriy Yarmolenko is yet to start a Premier League game for West Ham this season

West Ham cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with an emphatic win over League One side Hull City.

Sebastian Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko both netted twice for the hosts, after Robert Snodgrass had opened the scoring.

Hammers boss David Moyes, defender Issa Diop and midfielder Josh Cullen all missed the game after testing positive for coronavirus.

Mallik Wilks scored a second-half consolation goal for the visitors.

West Ham will now travel to Fleetwood or Everton in the fourth round, with ties due to take place in the week commencing 28 September.
