Eniola Aluko helped Chelsea Ladies beat Sunderland 6-0 by scoring her first goal since accusations of “bullying and discrimination” against ex-England manager Mark Sampson were made public.
Aluko’s accusations – which Sampson denies – have been the subject of two Football Association investigations and have led to a parliamentary inquiry.
Her goal completed Chelsea’s second 6-0 WSL 1 win in as many weeks.
Gemma Davison, with two, Fran Kirby, Ji So-Yun and Erin Cuthbert also scored.
Chelsea last week began their WSL season with a 6-0 victory over Bristol City.
