Somerset captain Chris Rogers reflects on his decision to retire and his county’s chances of lifting their first County Championship title if results elsewhere go their way.
The 39-year-old former Australia opener signed off with a century in each innings as Somerset beat Nottinghamshire by 325 runs to put themselves top of the table.
A draw between Middlesex and Yorkshire would see Somerset win the title.
“We’ve played some tremendous cricket,” Rogers told BBC Points West. “The momentum we’ve picked up over the last few months has been incredible.”
